Rocket Lab founder and CEO, Peter Beck was recently inducted into the EY World Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. A great achievement for a man so passionate about rockets coming from New Zealand, not a country that you might normally associate with being strong in the space industry. Rocket Lab‘s focus is on lifting small satellites of 150kg to low earth orbit. This sets it apart from, for example, Elon Musk’s SpaceX which can lift over 54 tons into orbit, enough to fly humans to Mars.
Why should everyone be punished by just a few who do not have the courtesy to others who have come here to learn by arriving on time? I will not have you here!
Professor Richard T. Bates
The lesson I learnt of being on time came many years ago while studying electrical engineering at Canterbury University. At the start of his first lecture to our class the lecturer, Professor Richard T. Bates, introduced himself and explained that in future everyone would arrive on time and be ready to receive his lecture.
